Growing up in a military family has instilled a great amount of pride in being connected to the military. My two brothers, Shane and Liam, and my father, Brian, are pilots in the United States Air Force which motivated me to take my hockey career to Army West Point. While playing NCAA Division 1 hockey at West Point, I was granted a very unique opportunity to play professionally while delaying my 5 year military obligation until I am finished playing. While playing professionally, I have met many military families who are involved in the hockey community. This scholarship is designed to give back to military families by providing registration cost assistance to our camps for their sons or daughters.
